Job Overview
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and managing our brand's social media strategy. This role requires a creative, detail-oriented professional who can utilize social media platforms to enhance brand visibility and engagement. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of current social media trends, audience engagement strategies, and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across various platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Understand the nuances and trends of each platform to tailor content that resonates with our audience.
- Create and curate engaging content, including graphics, videos, and copy that align with our brand’s voice and goals.
- Monitor social media channels for engagement, comments, and customer feedback, responding in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyze and report on social media performance metrics, utilizing data to drive strategic decisions and improve engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and sales to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and trends to remain competitive in the market.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotional events to boost brand awareness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and analytics.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability to engage and connect with audiences.
- Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
